About Everest

Forty-five years of getting one thing right.

Everest Industrial has built commercial refrigeration in Sharjah since 1981. In that time the brands on our shelves have changed, the refrigerants have changed, and the electronics have changed. The discipline has not.

Company overview

From a single assembly line to 86 countries

Everest was founded in 1981 by our Chairman, Mr. Haytham Duwaji, as a manufacturer building bottle coolers for regional beverage bottlers. The first customers wanted one thing: a cabinet that would hold temperature through a Gulf summer, in an outlet where the door opened four hundred times a day.

That constraint shaped everything after it. Everest engineers cabinets for the hardest ambient conditions first, then derates them for cooler markets — which is why units specified for Sharjah behave predictably in Colombo, Cairo and Chennai.

Today the group runs dedicated production lines for chillers — single to quad door, countertop, can and open type — and for horizontal, vertical and countertop freezers, supported by in-house R&D, climate chambers and a regional service network. Four million units have left the plant. The brands on the door are among the largest in the world.
